1 day + Exam (Exam schedule to be coordinated and confirmed with local Community College)

PREREQUISITES
Asbestos Abatement Worker, Basics of Supervising, and modular training application form signed by the employer signing authority.

Details

The Ontario Regulations for asbestos work require that every supervisor of workers involved in
Type 3 asbestos operations successfully complete an Asbestos Abate Supervisor program
approved by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD) and gain
certification in order to perform their supervisory duties. Once participants complete this
course, they are eligible to write the MLTSD Asbestos Abatement Supervisor test at an
MLTSD-recognized assessment facility and obtain their 253S certificate upon passing the test.
