CSA-approved safety boots, hard hat and safety glasses

The Ontario Regulation for Propane Storage and Handling made under the Technical Standards
and Safety Act (TSSA) states that workers must hold a certificate or ROT (Record of Training), in
order to handle propane on the worksite. CH-02 (Propane Safety) training is mandatory for anyone
connecting, disconnecting or activating propane devices of 400,000 Btu/h or less. This course
meets TSSA training standards and combines classroom training with a practical component to
provide participants with knowledge on connecting and disconnecting propane cylinders to
heaters and torches safely and efficiently.
