First aid refers to the immediate assistance given to someone suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, providing them with care to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery. This course teaches participants how to respond to a workplace emergency and provide lifesaving care until professional help arrives. This course meets the legislative requirements for workplace training where six or more workers are present on any one shift.Course Content
