It may not be a favourite subject for many, but math is essential for success in construction.
Participants in this course will explore the application of math in construction, and review and
practice arithmetic operations, fractions, geometry and algebra using examples commonly
encountered on the jobsite. You can download the practice workbook here. If you are able to
complete section 1 with a score of at least 70%, then you may challenge the test. Otherwise,
you should attend the in-class session. This course is a prerequisite for blueprint reading and
foreman training.
