WHMIS stands for the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System, and refers to
Canada’s national communication standard for hazardous materials in the workplace. This
course will provide participants with an understanding of how to use WHMIS to find important
information regarding hazardous materials in the workplace to protect themselves and others.
