Details

To be successful today, a construction foreperson must have extensive knowledge of workplace
health and safety, understand a variety of management concepts, and have the skills and
abilities to produce results. Failure to fulfill the complex demands of this role not only slows a
project down; it runs the risk of attracting unwanted legal action against an employer. Topics in
this course are broken down into cumulative learning modules to help participants better
understand the material, and prepare them for overall management of their trade on the
jobsite.

• Communication and motivation
• Advanced blueprints
• Project organization (e.g. permits, communication with other trades, scheduling, etc.)
